Dr. Benjamin Neal

Dr. Benjamin Neal is originally from the Pacific Northwest where he grew up outside of Portland, OR. He received his BS in Biology in 2012 from Seattle University in Seattle, WA, and moved back to Portland to attend dental school. He received his DMD in 2019 from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) where his interest in prosthodontics began. Prosthodontics was the perfect fit for his innate curiosity and desire to treat comprehensively. After practicing for a year as a general dentist, he then attended a three-year residency in prosthodontics in San Antonio, TX at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Neal received his Certificate in Prosthodontics in 2023 and soon after became board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Neal enjoys being able to utilize traditional analog approaches in addition to new technology and digital dentistry to achieve excellent outcomes for patients.

After completing his residency in prosthodontics, he wanted to return to the West Coast closer to his family and partner. San Diego has quickly become a new home and he is enjoying exploring everything the city and surrounding areas have to offer. If you have any recommendations of restaurants, events, hikes, etc in the region, he would love to hear it! When he isn't in the office, he is likely at the beach or spending time with his partner and pets. Dr. Neal is looking forward to meeting you and working as a team to attain the smile you want and deserve.
